What is IVF?

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is an assisted reproduction technique that involves in vitro fertilization of a woman's egg with a man's sperm in a laboratory to form an embryo that is then implanted in the woman's uterus in order for the embryo to develop into a healthy baby.

 

How is IVF in the U.S. different from Taiwan?

Due to legal restrictions in Taiwan, only legally married heterosexual couples can undergo IVF, which is a difficult path for singles and the LGBTQ community. In the U.S., however, the regulations are relatively open, and even singles can realize their fertility dreams through IVF technology.

In reality, however, there is not much difference between the United States and Taiwan in terms of the process of IVF treatment. According to the Taiwan Society of Reproductive Medicine
